Watch Frantic Shootout Between Ohio Police, Suspect with Rifle

A residential security camera captured a shootout between Ohio and police and a suspect armed with a rifle accused of killing a woman Saturday.

The shooting happened shortly after 7 a.m., and Columbus police responded to a neighborhood because of reports of gunshots, WBNS-TV reports. Once at the scene, officers confronted a rifle-wielding man who opened fire at them.

The suspect was shot when at least one officer returned fire. The man was rushed to the hospital, where he later died.

The woman who was initially shot was pronounced dead at the scene. No officers were injured during the incident, which was captured by a home security camera.

The shooting is being investigated by the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation.
